President’s Message – April 2026

  • April 2026

As we welcome April, I want to begin by thanking everyone who joined us for our March Business After Hours at Hobe Sound Presbyterian Church. It was a privilege to help them celebrate an extraordinary milestone—100 years here in Hobe Sound. Their legacy and long-standing impact on our community were felt throughout the evening, and we were honored to share in that moment of appreciation.

This month also began with a great turnout at our April Breakfast, held under the tiki at Harry & The Natives and generously sponsored by White Glove Moving, Storage and Delivery. We were pleased to have Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek join us as our speaker. He provided valuable updates on safety and protection throughout the county, offering insight into both current initiatives and future priorities. It was a meaningful opportunity to show our Sheriff and local officers just how much we appreciate their dedication to keeping our community safe. Thank you to everyone who rose early to enjoy networking, important information, and a delicious breakfast at one of Hobe Sound’s most iconic gathering spots.

We are now looking forward to one of our most community-driven events of the season—the Hobe Sound Cleanup on Saturday, April 18 at 8 a.m., starting at Harry & The Natives. As mentioned last month, this event brings together residents, businesses, families, and volunteers of all ages to help keep Hobe Sound beautiful. Our thanks to Jenkins Landscape Co. for partnering once again.

And finally, Derby fans rejoice—our Kentucky Derby Party returns this year on May 2 at Sophia’s! This beloved event is always an afternoon of fun, camaraderie, and community spirit. Keep an eye out for the flyer included in this paper for all the details.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and involvement. Together we make Hobe Sound a vibrant, connected, and thriving place to live and work. I look forward to seeing you throughout the events and around Hobe Sound!
