President’s Message

  • January 2026
  • By John Peterson

As 2025 comes to a close, the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce is celebrating another great year with our residents and business community. Together we look back at our achievements of the past year while looking ahead to the opportunities that are in front of us in 2026.

We kick off the year with one of our most anticipated events, the 25th Annual Hobe Sound Festival of the Arts presented by O’Donnell Impact Windows and Storm Protection. The event will take place on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. down S.E. Dixie Hwy. in Hobe Sound. Residents and visitors are invited to stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics and more from the artists who are on site to discuss their inspirations and processes for each handmade work. One thing is for sure, if you come to this event, you will not want to leave empty-handed! There is literally something for everyone. Also, come out and support our Chamber Member booths, buy official festival merchandise and grab a cold beverage.

As we look ahead to 2026, rest assured that your Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce will continue to stay focused on our mission to advance the general welfare and the prosperity of Hobe Sound and the surrounding areas so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. Thank you to all our members, sponsors, President’s Council, ambassadors, chamber staff and Board of Directors for another incredible year to build on. I look forward to serving as your Chamber President in 2026.

John Peterson,

Edward Jones,

Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce President
