Clerk Timmann Offers Expanded Online Access To Martin County Historical Records

The Honorable Carolyn Timmann, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller of Martin County, announces expanded online access to the county’s historical official records through a digitized records index.

Members of the public can search the record indexes from 1925 to 1985 online through the Historical Records link.  The site also includes direct links to documents from 1958 forward. In addition to the official records available, other historical record books preserved by the clerk’s office are also available for viewing. Residents can now conveniently view historical document images from the comfort of their own home.

This ongoing project uses modern web-based technology to provide convenient, 24-hour online access to Martin County’s historically preserved records, reducing the need for inperson courthouse visits.

New documents are added regularly as records are digitized and reviewed.

Some document images may be temporarily unavailable while required redactions are completed in accordance with Florida Statutes.

The historical records search is conveniently available on MartinClerk.com under the “Historical Records” section. The public is encouraged to visit often as more records continue to be released.

For more information on access to historical records, contact the Official Records Division of the Martin County Clerk’s Office at (772) 288-5551.
